Family - Parents’ and/or siblings’ names: Celeste is Zora’s step aunt. Zora’s Russian grandfather, Anton, had a heated love affair with a French witch, Cecile, much to all the families’ dismay. Zora’s Russian grandmother, Sofia, hurt and feeling spiteful, started the rumour, “That Anton would never cheat, and that Celine would had to be half-Veela to turn his head like that.” Today, people still wonder if it’s true or not since Dubois women are uncommonly lovely and kind, turning many a men’s head.
Celeste has always been quite pampered and despite a sheltered childhood, Celeste has turned into a very self-assured and very practical (like most French) witches. She is talkative and sometimes lets things slip when she is angry. She says what’s on her mind, usually not caring what the rest think of her.
Background and/or back story information important to your character’s plot line:
• Celeste was not in Woodcroft at the time of the fire. She was studying at a healers school in New York. Hearing about the blaze, Celeste hurried home to be with her niece and nephew, Tomás who had been hurt in the fire and welcomed his aunt’s healing aids. She has been a great help to Zoraida over the years, and has secretly been toying with the idea of opening a muggle style pastry shop somewhere in wizarding England.
