His father Anthony, is originally from Ireland, works for the Ministry but in the Muggle Relations part, and his mother, who is from Montreal, is the a Charms teachers at Beauxbaton in France.
When Ryan left school, he didn't know what to do, he was good at playing Quidditch so decided to try out for the Hollyhead Harpies. He was chosen as a chaser and stayed with the team for a few years until he was traded to Puddlemere United where he plays alomg side Sterling as a chaser.
