a messenger owl named Doctor Hoo. He considers himself very clever.
Fears or weaknesses:
Is a bit of a deliquent from the days of his wild youth, tries not to let it spill out into his job, but fears he can't curtail it enough. Tends to have a bit of an intrinsic fear of purebloods and tends to lash out at them if he so much even mistakes blood purity as their motive. Is downright dreadful at keeping people out of his mind, he's so easy to read he might as well be an open book.
Likes and dislikes:
He likes to have fun, hang out with people he likes and generally be boisterous and have a good time, tends to dislike people who act 'stuck up' though his definition of stuck up can range from actually stuck up to just not being likeable enough for him.
Favourite things in life:
A stiff drink and good, fun night out are usually what gets him through the days.

Only knows his mother, Minnie Jericho. Has no contact or relation with his father.

Background and/or back story information important to your character’s plot line:
Was born to his mother Minnie in New York. Lived in the rougher Queens area, which is where most of his coarse and rough personality started to form. Spent the better half of his life up til 11 in and out of turmoil.
Eventually got his invite to Ilvermony school, which he and his mother wrote off as a prank and continued to ignore until a neighboring wizard introduced themselves to them and elaborated.
His personality lead to a turmultous tenure as a student, as his poor behavior lead to many threats of expulsion and disciplinary actions. If not for leniency and understanding on the headmaster's part Cyrus' schooling would probably have come to an end early.
Took a shining to wands and all the things that come with them, with thanks to Ilvermony's attention to wands. This led to him wanting to teach others about wands as much, and as well as a disdain for selling that prevent him from wandmaking. This lead to him moving to England to teach Wand Studies at hogwarts.
