General Guidelines
1. Respect other players, no "God-modding". God-modding is basically writing something about what another person's character is doing into your scene or scenario without their consent. For example:
Jane saw her friend Tom standing quietly by the lake, so she decided to call out to him, "Hey, Tom! What's up?". To Jane's surprise, Tom stuck his tongue out at her and told her to get lost.
The underlined part is considered God-modding. Jane's writer never let Tom's writer answer and just assumed he would act like that. Now some people don't mind this, and can go with the flow, others can't and find it rude. So to avoid hard feeling, respect your writing partner's creative juices.
2. No unnecessary swear words. (It is acceptable to use an expletive like, "Oh, shit!", "Dammit!", "Bloody hell!"... ) However, a sentence full of swear words is not okay.
3. No derogatory words or insults toward fellow RPers. If this happens, you will be warned once and only once. Enough said.
4. Generally one paragraph (a few sentences) per post. Try to write at least a paragraph, maybe with some character development, and/or description or depth. Grammar and spelling are encouraged. Thanks.
5. Most importantly, have fun!
(Rules may be amended at any time and without warning.)
