Alexandra was sorted into Gryffindor but is not overly "Gryffindor-ish". She tends to be head strong, impulsive and have strong opinions. She is also very sure of herself and has lots of self-confidence. Alexa is a moody person and who can suddenly become a bit sullen, strangely sad, or happy, even euphoric for no apparent, at least to others, reason. Alexa finds friendship hard because she is afraid that people will leave her, betray her or laugh at her for being herself.
Alexa's father, Hiram, remarried a few years ago to a much younger witch called Savannah Easterly. Savannah has not been an overly doting step-mother, but she has not been unkind to Alexandra either. Savannah basically does not know how to raise kids and tends to let Alexa do whatever she wants, interfering only when she wants something or needs something from Hiram or Alexa. Alexa's mother passed away when she was 6. She was killed accidentally by an auror in a DE attack.
